Among my most popular classes are those focusing on Landscape Quilts. I have found that choosing suitable fabrics can be the factor that makes or breaks the quilt. Though I give a tutorial on selecting landscape fabrics part of my classes, it helps if a student has a preliminary concept of that process before coming to a class, particularly in the case of workshops where a student is restricted to only the fabrics they bring. To address this, I have created a downloadable fabric selection guide with examples of suitable fabrics for various landscape elements. The fabrics shown may no longer be available, but they will provide an idea of the types of fabrics to look for.

This is a large file, so to download this guide easily, right-click here, then select ‘save link as’ to save the file onto your computer, then open and view or print it from your computer.  You can also click on the image to the right.

I am also available for private, one-on-one tutoring/instruction in your home and group classes for small quilt groups at the location of your choice. My fees for a private personal class are $30 per hour plus mileage. For small quilt groups, the fee is $45 per hour plus mileage.
